Quick Start Guide

Get up and running with Polynomial in just a few minutes. This guide will walk you through the essential steps to start trading and staking.

Prerequisites

  • A web3 wallet (MetaMask, WalletConnect, etc.)

  • Some USDC for trading or staking

  • Basic understanding of DeFi concepts

Step 1: Connect Your Wallet

  1. Click "Connect Wallet" in the top right

  2. Choose your preferred wallet connection method

  3. Approve the connection in your wallet

Step 2: Complete Onboarding

After connecting your wallet, you'll go through a quick setup process:

  1. Sign the Terms of Service to agree to our platform policies

  2. Enable trading features when prompted

  3. You're now ready to deposit funds and start trading

  4. Advanced order features (like stop-losses) will be enabled automatically when you need them

Step 3: Fund Your Account

For Trading:

  1. Click "Deposit" in the trading interface

  2. Choose USDC or ETH or others as your collateral

  3. Deposit from Ethereum, Arbitrum, or other supported chains

  4. Your funds will be available for trading immediately

  5. The funds will be bridged, a Polynomial wallet and trading account will be created, and then margin will be deposited—all automatically behind the scenes.

For Staking:

  1. Navigate to the staking section

  2. Click "Deposit" to add liquidity to a pool

  3. Choose your preferred asset (USDC, sUSDe, etc.)

  4. Enter the amount you want to stake

  5. Confirm the transaction

  6. Your funds will be bridged and deposited automatically—start earning rewards immediately

Step 4: Start Trading

Your First Trade:

  1. Select a market (e.g., BTC-PERP)

  2. Choose your position size

  3. Set your leverage (start with 1x-5x for beginners)

  4. Click "Long" or "Short"

  5. Confirm the transaction

Your First Stake:

  1. Go to the staking section

  2. Choose a liquidity pool

  3. Enter the amount you want to stake

  4. Confirm the transaction

  5. Start earning rewards immediately

Step 5: Explore Advanced Features

Once you're comfortable with the basics:

  • Set up limit orders for better price execution

  • Configure stop-losses to manage risk

  • Join the points program to earn additional rewards

  • Explore cross-margin for capital efficiency
