Earn Points
This tutorial explains how the points system works on Polynomial. Points are accumulated rewards that may convert to tokens in the future.
What Are Points?
Points are a reward system on Polynomial that track your platform engagement and may convert to tokens in the future. The more points you earn, the greater your potential rewards.
Two Types of Points
Polynomial has two separate point systems:
1. Trading Points
Earning Basis: You earn points based on how much trade volume or rebalance OI or [redacted] you have in the last 24 hours
Daily Distribution: 1 million points will be distributed daily
Mystery Cards: You can reveal your points by claiming mystery cards awarded to you after that period
Separate Entity: Trading Points and Staking points are done by two separate entities
2. Staking Points
Hourly Earning: Earn points every hour based on amount staked
Duration Bonus: Longer stakes earn higher point rates through boost multipliers
Withdrawal Impact: You lose points when you withdraw - your boost resets to 1x
Supported Assets: USDC, sDAI, and sUSDe
Referral Systems
Important: Trading and staking have completely separate referral systems.
Trading Referrals
Refer others to trade on Polynomial Trade
Earn rewards based on their trading activity
Separate from staking referrals
Staking Referrals
Refer others to stake on Polynomial Chain
Earn 10% of their staking points
Earn 5% of their referrals' points
Completely independent from trading referrals
Missions
Missions provide additional ways to earn bonus points:
Complete daily and weekly tasks
Participate in special events
Engage with the community
